Location: Northern

We are immediately hiring an Inventory Manager in Aberdeen, MD for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, physical inventories, and WMS (AS400) adjustments. This role oversees capacity reporting, bay door availability, location and bin consolidations, velocity analysis, quality hold and rework activities, and inventory reconciliations.

Pay Type:

Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month, Annual Salary Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 per year based on experience.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with flexibility to work additional hours depending on the business needs.

Location:

Aberdeen, MD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capable of maintaining inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, physical inventories, and WMS (AS400) adjustments.
  • Oversee capacity reporting, bay door availability, location and bin consolidations.
  • Perform velocity analysis, quality hold and rework activities, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control systems that meet ongoing and future facility needs.
  • Develop and manage the facility cycle count program and the inventory recoup/repack/return/recycle program.
  • Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
  • Provide office support to the I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping office personnel.
  • Facilitate and execute the hold process for local site.
Essential Functions
  • Tracks day-to-day facility inventory costs and assists in supporting the facility KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) to consistently meet/exceed established goals, including but not limited to GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and maintenance.
  • Maintain daily reports that are established to measure daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s.
  • Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues and office support to the I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping office personnel.
  • Facilitate and execute the hold process for local site.
  • Promote positive customer relationships.

  • Knowledge of OSHA (required), DOT and Hazmat knowledge may be required based on the account (intermediate preferred).
  • APICS certified (intermediate preferred).
Qualifications
  • H.S. diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
  • Three (3) years or more manufacturing/production/distribution inventory experience required.
  • Two (2) years or more supervisory experience required.
  • Three (3) years or more PC inventory and accounting skills required.
  • Three (3) years or more problem‑solving skills experience, use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills (intermediate required).
  • Exposure to Lean principles, systems and tools (beginner preferred).
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (intermediate preferred).
  • Knowledge of OSHA required (intermediate required).
  • DOT and Hazmat knowledge may be required based on the account (intermediate preferred).
  • APICS certified (intermediate preferred).
