About the Role

• The Warehouse, Fleet and Facilities Lead is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and upkeep of the company's truck fleet, facilities, and grounds, in addition to performing essential warehouse functions. This role is crucial for ensuring the fleet, grounds, and warehouse operations consistently meet high company standards. Previous experience preferred.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all truck repairs and routine preventative maintenance
• Ensure trucks are clean, presentable, and consistently ready for service
• Perform or assist with basic in-house truck maintenance:
• Cleaning trucks
• Topping off basic fluids (e.g., windshield washer fluid)
• Checking and filling tires/monitoring pressure
• Replacing headlight bulbs and other minor components
• Swapping batteries
• Maintaining spare trucks in a ready-for-use state

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and orderliness
• Organize inventory and actively assist with physical inventory counts as needed
• Support the efficient replenishment of truck stock for field technicians
• Prepare and stage bin swaps for efficient inventory rotation
• Handle the receiving process for all inbound items and packages
• Manage the returns process, including:
• Properly returning items to designated shelving
• Accurately labeling returned items
• Staging returns according to established company processes
• Support overall parts flow to ensure technicians can quickly access necessary materials
• Operate the Forklift safely and proficiently

• Maintain the interior of all company buildings, ensuring a safe and functional environment
• Maintain the exterior property and grounds, including:
• Organization of the metal scrap area
• Management and orderliness of dumpster areas
• General exterior orderliness and curb appeal.
• Lawn cutting and basic grounds maintenance
• Snow shoveling and removal during winter months

• Assist with urgent parts deliveries as required
• Run permits or similar support errands as needed to support field operations
  
  Provide general operational support to the Purchasing Manager and overall operations team
