Warehouse Supervisor
- Aftermarket Warehouse

Permanent Full Time Charlotte, NC, US

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually

Objectives of the Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations at the Aftermarket Warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods. This role ensures alignment with Stabilus quality standards, safety regulations, and operational KPIs while leading and developing a high‑performing warehouse team. The Warehouse Supervisor collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, Production Planning, and Customer Service to support smooth, on‑time supply chain execution.

Primary

Duties:
  • Comply with all attendance, conduct, performance, and safety policies.
  • Supervise all inbound and outbound warehouse activities including receiving, put‑away, pick/pack, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all transactions in SAP
    orders, inventory adjustments).
  • Coordinate with Production Planning to align warehouse capacity with manufacturing schedules and production demand.
  • Manage dock scheduling and carrier relationships to ensure on‑time inbound and outbound freight movement.
  • Lead cycle count programs and annual physical inventory audits; resolve discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, slotting, and material flow for maximum efficiency and safety.
  • Directly supervise warehouse associates including full‑time staff and temporary employees; manage schedules and shift assignments.
  • Conduct onboarding, training, and ongoing performance coaching for all direct reports.
  • Administer progressive discipline in accordance with Stabilus HR policies and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Complete and deliver timely performance evaluations for all direct reports.
  • Enforce all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies, OSHA standards, and Stabilus safety protocols.
  • Investigate and document workplace incidents, near misses, and first‑aid events; implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Maintain and report warehouse KPIs: inventory accuracy, on‑time shipping, order fill rate, and safety metrics.
  • Drive Lean/5S initiatives to reduce waste, improve flow, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to address non‑conforming materials and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Education, Training, Certifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
  • Forklift Operator Certification preferred (powered industrial truck).
  • Lean Manufacturing / 5S training preferred.
  • SAP WM/EWM system training required (completed within 90 days of hire if not held at time of hire).
  • First Aid / CPR certification preferred.
Experience
  • 3–5 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial product environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing a combined full‑time and temporary workforce preferred.
  • Prior experience with SAP or equivalent ERP/WMS system required.
  • Knowledge of import/export compliance and domestic freight regulations preferred.
Job Knowledge and Skills
  • Proficiency in SAP WM/EWM or comparable ERP/WMS system.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to create and interpret reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical shipping documents, Bills of Lading, packing lists, and inventory reports.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage diverse teams across multiple shifts.
