Job SummaryThe Operations Supervisor at is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operational activities within our warehouse and logistics facilities, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to quality standards, and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse associates, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
- Monitor and manage daily operational workflows, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, DEA).
- Optimize labor utilization and resource allocation to meet production goals and customer service level agreements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and operational processes.
- Generate and analyze operational reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service, quality assurance, and transportation, to ensure seamless operations.
- Address and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to management as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Typically requires 3+ years ofsubject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.
- Experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse, distribution, or 3PL environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of FDA and DEA regulations related to pharmaceutical handling and storage is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work mid-shift (1pm- production close)
