Inventory Control Clerk

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
ScheduleThrough October Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM until completion of daily truck processing.
October Through Year-End Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Clerk to support warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will have previous inventory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, receiving, and reporting functions.
Essential Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory and materials.
- Maintain inventory records using inventory management systems.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or inventory concerns.
- Generate inventory reports and maintain inventory documentation.
- Organize inventory within designated warehouse locations.
- Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and operations teams to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Support shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities as needed.
- Follow company safety standards and inventory control procedures.
- Previous experience in inventory control, inventory management, cycle counting, or warehouse inventory required.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.
- Experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory management software preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with barcode scanners and inventory tracking tools.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
- Strong data entry accuracy and reporting capabilities.
- Understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
Warehouse environment with frequent walking, standing, inventory counting, and interaction with warehouse personnel. Position may require flexibility with hours during peak truck volume periods.
