Warehouse Manager | Food & Beverage Manufacturing | CPF – Ayer, MA

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including freight, shipping and receiving, and returns. This role requires maintaining high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, leading and developing the warehouse team, and ensuring a high level of customer service.

This position is expected to consistently comply with all department and company policies, including but not limited to Quality and Food Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Safety Programs, and CPF General Work Rules.

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations.
• Participates in hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and employee training.
• Ensure a high level of customer service; resolve issues as needed.
• Manage finished goods and raw material inventory levels.
• Oversee forklift purchases and maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• Implement processes and initiatives to improve productivity, including inventory control, warehouse best practices, and cost management.
• Maintain P&A responsibility for warehouse cost centers.
• Ensure compliance with all required policies and procedures.
• Participate in audits and provide documentation as requested.
• Ensure all personnel work in a safe manner and follow safety protocols.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing warehousing, logistics, or supply chain.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Demonstrated strong computer skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Experience in the beverage industry.

• Directly responsible for supervising hourly, exempt, professional, or technical employees.

• Ability to lift, bend, and load containers weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to operate a forklift for pallet movement and truck loading.
• Extensive walking, standing, and movement throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

This position works primarily in a warehouse and manufacturing setting and may be exposed to moving equipment, forklifts, and production areas. Adherence to all safety rules and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
