Salary Range: $83,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external certification audits to ensure IATF 16949 compliance.
• Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) for customer and internal non-conformances.
• Oversee APQP activities, including PPAP submissions and FMEA development.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through analysis of quality data and metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process changes to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Manage supplier quality performance, including audits, corrective actions, and new supplier qualification.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in IATF 16949 standards and their practical application.
• Strong proficiency in core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Demonstrated ability to lead problem-solving initiatives using methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams.
