Financial Analyst - Kentwood Area

Salary Range: $71,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

• Conduct detailed cost analysis for manufacturing operations, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Develop and maintain financial models for production forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget/forecast for production costs and sales.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to track plant performance and key manufacturing KPIs.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery and facility upgrades, assessing ROI and financial viability.
• Support inventory valuation and analysis, collaborating with operations and supply chain teams.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements within the manufacturing process.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.

• Experience with specific manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4
  
  HANA, Oracle EBS).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for operational insights.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their financial impact.
• Exposure to supply chain finance and inventory optimization strategies.
