Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed cost analysis for manufacturing operations, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Develop and maintain financial models for production forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget/forecast for production costs and sales.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to track plant performance and key manufacturing KPIs.
- Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery and facility upgrades, assessing ROI and financial viability.
- Support inventory valuation and analysis, collaborating with operations and supply chain teams.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements within the manufacturing process.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
- Experience with specific manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4
HANA, Oracle EBS). - Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for operational insights.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their financial impact.
- Exposure to supply chain finance and inventory optimization strategies.
