Information Systems Analyst

Overview

The Information Systems Analyst role is to support, maintain, and implement the In sequence sequencing application for all Ventra / Flex-N-Gate facilities in the US / Canada. The person will troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required. Travel to support and coordinate IS (Information Systems) projects at various locations in the US / Canada is required.

The position will communicate with all manufacturing departments and support their information systems-related needs.

• Work with end users to identify and deliver required system service levels.
• Support the In sequence sequencing applications at Ventra / Flex-N-Gate facilities in the US / Canada, providing implementation, training, and on-site support as required.
• Support the implementation of business applications as required at various facilities in the US / Canada.
• Travel to various Ventra / Flex-N-Gate facilities as directed.
• Daily operations include other duties assigned by the Director Information Systems or Information Systems Manager.
• Maintain awareness and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.

• Associates Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience
• Three plus years CMS (or another ERP system) and relevant industry experience
• Experience supporting In sequence sequencing application preferred
• Must be a self-starter who can assist the team on multiple projects or tasks concurrently and complete them on time
• Best practices for manufacturing. (Real Time) Shop-Floor Reporting:
  Production, Scrap, and Label generation

• Responsibilities will require being on call, via cell phone or home phone, and may require evening and weekend work in response to the needs of the systems being supported.
• Must be able to work as part of an integrated team consisting of all departments and the shop floor.
• Regular need to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; hear; taste; and smell.
• Regular need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
