Floor Technician – Clean Team, Inc.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (serving Wyoming, Kentwood, Grandville, Byron Center & Cutlerville)

Job Type: Part‑Time, On‑Site (Evening/Night Shifts)

Start Date: Immediate openings

Clean Team Inc. is a leading commercial cleaning company serving West Michigan. We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented professional to join our night‑shift floor care and support team.

• Perform hard floor cleaning, scrubbing, stripping, sealing, and refinishing
• Conduct carpet cleaning, including stain removal, extraction, and deodorizing
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment (auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, extractors, etc.)
• Assist with training new team members on proper cleaning procedures and equipment use
• Help with supply deliveries, organization, and support tasks as needed
• Identify flooring areas that need special attention or repair
• Follow safety procedures and chemical‑handling guidelines
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and clients

• Previous floor care experience required (stripping, refinishing, carpet cleaning, etc.)
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and transport floor equipment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• A problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently
• Willingness to work evenings/night shifts and occasional weekend projects
