We are hiring an Associate Project Manager/ Project Manager to lead innovative product development at Steelcase’s world-class innovation center. • Lead new product development projects from concept through market launch
• Align cross‑functional teams and stakeholders around project scope, goals, and timelines
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring accountability and transparency
• Lead/facilitate decision‑making reviews and influence business priorities
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance future project outcomes

• Bachelor’s degree in a Project Management, Business, Engineering or related field or military equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with the product development lifecycle (PDL)—including supply chain, engineering, or design
• Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management tools
• Experience influencing business leaders and managing stakeholder alignment
  
  Ability to understand and evaluate financial implications of project decisions
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated experience leading product development or similar cross‑functional projects
