Project Manager - Kentwood Area

Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

• Plan, execute, and finalize manufacturing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans for production.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to production, supply chain, and quality control.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, production, quality, procurement) to ensure project success.
• Monitor project performance, track progress, and ensure adherence to manufacturing quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services critical to production.

• Proven experience managing projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production life cycles, and supply chain dynamics.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile) and process improvement techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and risks in a production setting.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with common ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and/or PLM software.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) or manufacturing simulation tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949 quality standards.
