Uptime, product quality, and audit readiness depend on reliable process and packaging assets. You’ll be the go-to problem solver who keeps critical equipment safe, compliant, and available.
Core impact areas
Asset care:
Perform intermediate PMs and repairs on conveyors, ovens, freezers, pumps, motors, and packaging systems.
Rapid diagnostics:
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults with minimal supervision.
Fast changeovers:
Lead/support format changes while meeting sanitation standards and minimizing downtime.
Quality control:
Calibrate sensors, scales, and automation to protect product specifications.
Data discipline:
Maintain accurate CMMS records; flag repeat failures and emerging risks.
People development:
Mentor and assist Maintenance Technician I teammates.
Parts readiness:
Coordinate with the parts room to maintain key spare inventories.
Continuous improvement:
Engage in RCA and CI activities to drive reliability.
Safety, food safety, and compliance
Adhere to GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and site safety standards including LOTO, confined space, and PPE.Account for tools, sanitize equipment after use, and prevent allergen cross-contact through proper attire and work practices.
Apply knowledge of GMPs, OSHA standards, and food-industry requirements.
Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance to keep assigned lines in specification.
Partner with production and sanitation on customer complaint investigations and readiness.
Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager and Quality Technical Manager on quality, food safety, and regulatory issues.
Support audit preparedness for third-party and customer inspections.
Systems and technologies you’ll work with Conveyors, ovens, freezers, baggers, wrappers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Packaging and palletizing equipment—calibration, diagnostics, and alignment.
Utilities including compressed air and refrigeration.

Close alignment with production and sanitation to ensure equipment readiness and hygienic operations.
Organized, clean maintenance work areas and tool control.
Other related duties may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor as business needs evolve.
