Packaging & Shipping Associate
Schedule:Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
First Day: 8 AM Start Time
Pay:$18.00/hr

• Produce quality products safely, on time, and at minimal cost.
• Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and respectfulness on the shop floor.
• Read and interpret blueprints or specifications for construction processes.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials for crate building.
• Inspect and repair crates as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow ISPM crating procedures and processes.
• Ensure all crates meet the specific requirements of the goods being shipped.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; adhere to all safety protocols.
• Track inventory of materials and tools; reorder supplies when necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members on large or complex projects.

• Ensure all packaging and crating meet SGP quality standards.

• Follow SGP safety guidelines at all times.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance workplace safety.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move materials as needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Organizational skills for inventory management
