Quality Manager - Kentwood Area

Salary Range: $94,000 - $141,000 depending on experience

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards.
• Oversee all product quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
• Manage supplier quality, including audits, performance monitoring, and non-conformance resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, customer specifications, and internal quality standards.
• Manage and mentor the quality assurance and control team.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing quality assurance teams.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 or other relevant QMS standards.
