As a Territory Sales Representative you will be selling industry‑leading material handling products, including Toyota Lift Trucks—the #1 selling lift truck in the United States. In this outside sales role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and growing new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers within an assigned geographic territory. This company consistently ranks as a top performer within the Toyota dealer network, driven by strong marketing programs, award‑winning service and parts departments, a culture of continuous learning, and high‑demand products.
QualificationsFor This Role
- Proven top performer with a track record of exceeding quotas
- Experience in B2B sales
- Strong territory management and sales experience
- Understanding of customer‑focused account management
- Proficiency with Windows‑based PC programs
- Industrial sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Manage assigned territory using a customer‑centric approach
- Develop and expand the current customer base
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities
- Travel throughout the territory and meet with customers daily
- Sell a full range of forklift products, including:
- Toyota equipment
- Attachments and accessories
- Rentals and services
- Additional material handling solutions
- Provide dedicated customer service and ongoing product support
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to buyers at all levels
- Motivated self‑starter with effective communication skills
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Driven to meet quotas and be results oriented
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about developing new business opportunities
