Location: Bentleyville, PA or Quincy, IL (onsite)
Job Overview: The Customer Service Technician will be part of the Nash team, performing detailed interaction with internal and external customers. Responsibilities include issuing quotations, entering orders, and communicating delivery schedules. The role requires clear communication with all internal departments and external customers/distributors on a daily basis.
Responsibilities- Process customer quotes accurately and efficiently.
- Handle order entry and order processing activities.
- Serve as a primary customer‑facing contact.
- Utilize Salesforce and SAP daily to manage customer and order data.
- Support manufacturing customers.
- Work as part of a centralized customer service team, collaborating with peers on quoting and ordering.
- Apply analytical skills to assess customer needs and solve problems.
- Focus on quote processing and order entry/processing for manufacturing customers, ensuring accurate data entry, customer communication, and system utilization through Salesforce and SAP.
- High School Diploma required.
- 1+ years of experience in product and/or customer service.
- 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle internal and external contacts positively and assertively.
- Provide first‑class customer service & support by e‑mail and phone.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and professionally.
- Coordinate with internal company resources and vendor resources to resolve issues for customers and distributors.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of company products.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical related field preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP, especially customer orders, ABAP queries, and service notifications.
- Position based at either Bentleyville, PA or Quincy, IL office, depending on candidate selected.
- Limited travel under rare circumstances.
The pay range for this role is $45,000 – $65,000 annually, considering factors such as skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and geographic location.
