Keokuk Catholic School Kindergarten Position
Under the supervision of the building Principal/Head of School, the accepted candidate is responsible for teaching full-time Kindergarten in a self-contained classroom. The teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and faith development of children. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching young learners, skilled in classroom management, and committed to creating a positive, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans focusing on early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing extra support when needed.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
- Recognizes and supports the mission of the school.
