Job DescriptionKeokuk Catholic School Kindergarten Position
Under the supervision of the building Principal/Head of School, the accepted candidate is responsible for teaching full‑time Kindergarten in a self‑contained classroom. The teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social‑emotional, physical, and faith development of children. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching young learners, skilled in classroom management, and committed to creating a positive, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans focusing on early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing extra support when needed.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
- Recognize and support the mission of the school.
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Requirements- At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
