GEI is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Technician to support a dam reconstruction project managed by a team in our St. Louis, MO Office. This full‑time position will be based at Hamilton, Illinois/Keokuk, Iowa for 2026 and 2027. Responsibilities include leading construction inspection teams, coordinating with multi‑disciplinary design teams and third‑party testing agencies, managing third‑party contractors, supporting design teams with constructability reviews, and assisting office staff with the production and review of deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; AS degree in Engineering Technology, BS in Construction Management, or related field highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction inspection and testing, particularly in soils, concrete, and bituminous paving.
  • Certification from ACI in soil or concrete testing.
  • Previous Resident Engineering Experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel for both short‑ and long‑term assignments.
