Industrial Shift Supervisor

Shift Supervisor – Shift schedule:
Wednesday/Thursday: 7:00 AM–6:00 PM ($15.25/hr).

• Function as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); act to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notify proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coach and discipline personnel as appropriate; seek advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meet personally with employees and document coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Train Security Officers and other company personnel; review post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with company management or designated representatives.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
• Shift Supervisors will help with scheduling, badging visitors, and respond to plant emergencies as needed.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Participation in the company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 1 year of supervisor experience required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Driver certification.
