Special Ed Teacher | Kerman, California

Make a difference in the lives of young learners by supporting elementary students with mild to moderate needs for the upcoming  school year. This contract special education opportunity is full-time, covering 37.5 hours per week in an onsite setting. You'll deliver tailored instruction and interventions, working closely with elementary-aged students and collaborating with a dedicated educational team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential required
• Experience with elementary-aged students preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications in classroom settings
• Track, assess, and report students' progress toward learning goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
• Create a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment
• Participate in relevant meetings, professional development, and trainings as required
