Customer Service Rep, Retail Sales
Position Summary
The Vision Center Supervisor leads sales and operations in the Vision Center, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, inventory management, and customer service excellence. They oversee associates, drive community outreach, enforce company policies, and maintain a high‑performing team while delivering a quality eyewear experience to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales through effective visual merchandising, pricing, and inventory control.
- Budget, forecast sales, and interpret economic trends and community needs.
- Provide direction and training to associates to deliver excellent customer‑member service.
- Lead community outreach programs and encourage associate participation.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, including asset protection, safety, and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and operational metrics.
- Oversee eyewear quality by consulting customers, verifying prescriptions, measuring, and performing minor frame repair.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information and company documentation.
- Support the open‑door policy by listening to associate concerns, researching issues, and providing resolutions.
- Coordinate job‑related activities and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
The hourly wage range for this position is $30.00 – $40.00, with additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.
Minimum Qualifications- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.
- Experience supervising associates.
