- Inventory Monitoring:
Regularly monitor inventory levels to ensure they meet operational requirements while minimizing excess or obsolete stock. Review product availability, allocations, product codes, shipping requirements, etc. - Stock Accuracy:
Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile them with digital records to maintain accurate inventory data. Participate in inventory counting on a daily, monthly, and annual basis. - Inventory Optimization:
Identify opportunities to optimize inventory management processes, reduce carrying costs, and improve overall efficiency. - Record Keeping:
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date inventory records, including inbound receipts, outbound disbursements, auto‑sweeps, material to material transfers, aged inventory, process all inventory adjustments such as missing and damaged products, Bulk to Repack, etc. in ERP system. - Process Improvements:
Identify opportunities to streamline inventory control processes and implement best practices. - Reporting:
Generate and distribute inventory reports to relevant stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and trends. - Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including procurement, warehousing, finance and dispatch teams to ensure smooth inventory operations. - Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues promptly to prevent disruptions in operations. - Training and Development:
Train new employees on inventory procedures and best practices. - Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines related to inventory management and company safety standards. - Other Duties as assigned:
Can flex between department functions, including but not limited to inventory and dispatch responsibilities such as, but not limited to, processing customer orders, scheduling, forklift operations and TM processing during peak seasons.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- 1+ year of forklift experience.
- 2+ years of experience preferred.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel considered an asset.
- Knowledge of agricultural chemicals, fertilizer and SAP system is a plus.
The salary range for this role, in Biola, CA location, is between $20.87-$33.38.
