Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company that acquires, owns, and operates businesses throughout the United States.

Full-time

• Process equipment records for installs
• Contact customers prior to installation to confirm the appointment
• Review the day's agenda
• Discuss the installation process with customers and ensure a smooth experience
• Manage and coordinate the Comfort Advisor dispatch board, ensuring adherence to company policies, processes and scheduling standards
• Data entry for jobs
• Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day‑to‑day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable invoices
• Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Understand expense accounts and cost centers
• Apply compliance issues around accounts payable processes (e.g., W‑9, COI’s)

• Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
• Strong, accurate data entry skills with fast 10‑key speed
• Hands‑on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and MS Office
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to concentrate in a fast‑paced atmosphere and meet deadlines
• High school equivalency required
