We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a 46-bed medical-surgical unit while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, the Assistant Nurse Manager provides leadership to nursing staff, manages staffing and resources, supports professional development, and drives performance improvement initiatives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility to cover all shifts and a willingness to support staffing needs across multiple units, including both critical care and medical-surgical areas.
What We're Looking For- Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Graduate Degree, preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred. - Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications, required. - Additional Skills (required):
Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
