Work Schedule:

Mid-Shift, 11:00 AM- 11:00PM

• Provide direct patient care and support under the direction of the nursing team.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility and comfort needs.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information.
• Assist the clinical team with patient care, treatments and procedures within scope of practice.
• Respond to patient needs and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate team member.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, efficient and compassionate emergency care.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience:
  • One year preferred.
  • One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Completion of NAI program, required.
  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
  • Medication Safety - AME, required.
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred):
  
  Basic computer skills for documentation.
