At Dinomite Heating and Cooling, as an HVAC tech, you'll be part of an elite, employee focused, local HVAC company servicing the residential and light commercial heat and a/c market. We reward performance, and maintain the best work environment in the industry. We are an ambitious company looking for driven, high‑energy individuals to be part of our winning team in the Triad.
We are looking for qualified HVAC Technicians with strong communication skills to service our clients across the Greater Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the HVAC industry, must be able to work in a team environment, and perform various duties including troubleshooting, maintenance, diagnostics, repair and installation of air conditioning and heating equipment.
This is not an entry‑level position.
Salary is commensurate with qualification and experience. The current pay range is $30 - $55+ per hour. Our compensation package includes hourly rate, and generous performance‑based compensation. Additional incentives are in‑place in the form of monthly company‑wide contests that award cash prizes.
Job Description- Repair, install, and maintain air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems.
- Ability to quote and sell equipment.
- Explain the benefits of maintenance contracts to current customers to ensure products last longer. Perform preventative maintenances to protect the customers' investment.
- Discuss various options with clients when it comes to heating and cooling systems and help them determine which option is best for their situation.
- Troubleshoot issues with the current system as problems arise.
- Ability to use electrical test equipment, pressure gauges, hand tools, power tools, voltage and current meters.
- Ability to work independently, or part of a team, to identify and resolve problems in the field.
- 5 years or more of HVAC experience
- Current driver’s license
- CFC Certification
- Have own tools
- Pass Drug Screening and Background Check
