Construction Safety Manager
Location: Kerrville, TX
Duration: 6 Months (Immediate Start)
Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation & SchedulePay Rate: $52/hr
Per Diem: $125/Day
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Approximately 50 Hours Per Week

This role will oversee safety for trenching, excavation, underground utility installation, and heavy equipment operations while ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction safety professional with strong excavation experience who enjoys maintaining a visible field presence and supporting high-risk civil construction activities on a rapidly growing data center project.
Required Qualifications- OSHA 500 Certification
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
- Proven trenching and excavation safety experience
- Data center construction experience
- Competent Person - Excavation & Trenching
- Bilingual Preferred
- Experience working around heavy equipment and earthmoving operations
- CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
- Oversee daily safety activities for trenching and excavation operations
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor excavation protection systems, spoil pile placement, and safe access/egress
- Support underground utility installation and civil construction activities
- Monitor heavy equipment operations and material handling
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), excavation permits, and pre-task plans
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
