Position: Off Campus Work Study Adult Education - Elevate
This position reports directly to the Operations Coordinator. It requires a high level of confidentiality and the ability to work well with a wide variety of clients, volunteers, instructors, and other nonprofit agencies.

Elevate Adult Education, Inc. is a non-profit organization that emphasizes the importance of education for the health and wellness of the community through GED preparation, English as a Second Language classes, and Digital Literacy offerings. Our mission is to educate Hill Country adults to be active contributors in the life of the community.

Work hours are Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-8:30 p.m. during our classes. Additional hours during the week are flexible to accommodate your schedule.

Essential

Job Duties:

* Assist in availability and control of technology as needed in classrooms.

* Collect up-to-date class attendance sheets.

* Lead classes or groups of adult students.

* Use initiative in assisting students, instructors, staff, and others whenever possible.

Other Duties:

* Create social media posts.

* Typical office duties such as answering the phone, filing and maintaining records.

* Assisting with events and fundraisers outside of typical working hours.

Desired

Qualifications:

Proficiency with computers and comfortable learning new software. Willing to help others learn basic and advanced academic skills. Personable and willing to be flexible.
