This role is more than supervision—it is a ministry opportunity to walk alongside young people, modela life of faith, and help guide them toward spiritual, emotional, and personal growth.
The Teacher/Education Support Member serves as a steady, godly presencein the daily lives of students, offering consistency, accountability, andencouragement within a structured, faith-based environment.

Key Responsibilities- Cultivate meaningful mentoringrelationships with students through daily interaction and intentionaldiscipleship
- Provide consistent supervision while modeling Christ-like character in all settings
- Offer spiritual guidance throughboth planned sessions and everyday opportunities
- Maintain a structured and respectful environment by administering discipline in accordance with NHCApolicies
- Participate faithfully in campuslife, including chapel services and ministry events
- Work in unity with staff toensure compliance with Texas DFPS regulations
- Communicate effectively with leadership and students
- Maintain Classroom management andorder
- Assist Students with school subjects
- Work well with the other classroomteam members
- A clear testimony of faith and evidence of spiritual maturity
- Full agreement with the ATCOTmission statement
- Understanding of Christian discipleship and a heart for mentoring youth
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willingness to complete 30 hoursof childcare or related training (provided by NHCA)
- Commitment to maintain First Aidand CPR certification (training provided)
- Minimum of one year of full-time ministry or relevant life experience in mentoring, discipleship, or youthwork
- Has experience with classroom management
