SUMMARY

Our Counter Sales Associate is self-driven and responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within our retail stores including sales, estimating, and customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide professional, friendly, and responsive customer service over the phone, through email, and in person.
  • Develop an understanding of customer projects, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Recommend relevant add‑on products and upsell opportunities to help customers successfully complete their projects.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to advise customers, answer questions, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Support team members with customer transactions and daily operations as needed.
  • Identify sales leads, manage prospects, and actively pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct cold calls and proactive outreach to expand the customer base and grow sales.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, competitor activity, and provide recommendations to leadership on ways to better serve customers and grow market share.
  • Follow direction from supervisors and complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with metal buildings preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to computer software systems.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
  • Ability for cross training in other areas of the plant.
  • Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
