Physical Therapist – UHC Staffing Physical Therapist

Location: Kerrville, TX

Contract Type: Perm

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 30

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to improve mobility and independence
• Monitor patient progress, modify interventions, and document clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and caregivers to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety and injury prevention
• Participate in facility meetings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas (required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent degree
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Clinical experience in adult/geriatric or outpatient rehab settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to complete facility onboarding, background checks, and required trainings

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred;
  Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy considered

• Skilled in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic exercise
• Familiarity with common modalities, assistive devices, and mobility training
• Comfortable with accurate clinical documentation and basic EMR use
• Strong patient education and motivational coaching abilities
• Able to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
