Physical Therapist – UHC Staffing Physical Therapist
Location: Kerrville, TX
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 30
Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to improve mobility and independence
- Monitor patient progress, modify interventions, and document clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and caregivers to coordinate care plans
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety and injury prevention
- Participate in facility meetings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas (required)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent degree
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Clinical experience in adult/geriatric or outpatient rehab settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to complete facility onboarding, background checks, and required trainings
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred;
Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy considered
- Skilled in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic exercise
- Familiarity with common modalities, assistive devices, and mobility training
- Comfortable with accurate clinical documentation and basic EMR use
- Strong patient education and motivational coaching abilities
- Able to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
