Location: Kerrville, TX
Hill Country Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (HCTC) is seeking a full-time Safety & OSP Training Coordinator to join our team. The selected candidate must reside in the Hill Country area or within a 90-mile radius.

Role OverviewThe Safety & OSP Training Coordinator works closely with the Manager - Safety & Fleet Manager and Director – Field Operations to ensure that all employees are aware of the company's safety protocols, adherence to safety policies, and participate in field operations training sessions.
Responsibilities include:
- Assists in the coordination of the organization's safety program by monitoring compliance and scheduling training.
- Continuously update safety policies and procedures as instructed by the Manager and as appropriate to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Oversees and ensures accident and incident reporting procedures are followed on time.
- Conducts inspections of company vehicles and equipment, both on and off-premise. Ensures certifications for equipment operators are maintained.
- Assists in the development and administration of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies.
- Assists with emergency preparedness plans for use in the event of an active shooter or natural disaster such as a tornado or fire.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. An associate's degree in a closely related field is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in safety and/or risk management. Job-related experience may be substituted for education.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant safety and telecommunications experience.
- OSHA, CPR, and First Aid Certifications.
- Must have a valid Class C Texas driver's license:
- If relocating to Texas from another state or country, must have a valid driver's license equivalent to a Texas Class C and obtain a Texas license within 30 days
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under HCTC's standard auto insurance policy
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Occasional after-hours work may be required.
