Services Coordinator III Responsibilities
Performs volunteer services work including organizing, directing, publicizing, and coordinating volunteer services activities; works with local groups and stakeholders promoting facility and services of clients and patients, providing technical assistance to encourage the growth and development of individuals’ recovery and well‑being. This position will assist with the development of educational and training materials and programmatic planning. Attends planned events and supports the department in furtherance of goals by speaking, educating the public;
ensures the best use of budget allocation by tracking and monitoring expenditures. Performs data entry to log activities and assists in preparing reports and developing training materials.
Performs other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency’s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.
Essential Job Functions (EJFs)Attends work on a regular basis and may be asked to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
Interprets HHS and HSCS policy related to volunteer services activities and rules. Assists in educating staff and volunteers to ensure adherence to those policies, purpose, and programs to area communities through technical assistance, public engagements, the media, and onsite events.
Assists in the solicitation of contributions and donations to expand services and quality of treatment and/or recovery. Provides support to the Volunteer Services Council and Family Association as a non‑voting member as a resource when…
