As their Quality Nurse Auditor, you will develop, plan, and coordinate core measures and manage audit requests from financial coordinators, administration, patient relations, nursing and other departments. You will review medical records for appropriate documentation, collect data, ensure accurate billing, make suggestions, and report findings to the CFO on all audits.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, an RN Texas license, and a minimum 3 years’ experience in acute care. ACPHQ certification is preferred and CMS, Qnet, Meditech, and HC Analytics experience is a plus. You should have strong data management skills and the ability to develop, plan, and coordinate core measures, understand CNS guidelines, and create medical staff presentations as well as attend charge nurse meetings.
