This is a full-time, W-2, remote role for a Tracking Lead. This is a salaried position requiring 45-50 hours of work a week. The position involves checking on drivers that we have booked on shipments throughout the day. The Tracking Lead is in charge of updating drivers' statuses in our TMS, making check calls, and escalating issues to the operations team.
Qualifications- 2+ years of experience specifically in a 3PL/brokerage as an operations employee (brokerage, customer service, etc.)
- Comfortable making phone calls to ask drivers for ETAs, asking follow up questions related to ETA/status
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers
- Knowledge of macropoint, how to make check calls
- Proficiency in using a TMS- big plus if familiar with Aljex
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining communication with coworkers
- MUST have strong internet connection and ability to answer/make phone calls.
