The City of Wasilla seeks a Telecommunicator to screen calls at the dispatch center, determine appropriate response for police, fire and EMS, and transfer callers to the right dispatcher. You will gather information, provide accurate guidance, and operate multi-line phones and CAD resources.
Ideal candidates have strong communication, calmness under pressure, and 2+ years of public-facing experience. Must pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications including APSIN and CPR.
