Overview
The University of Alaska Southeast seeks adjunct instructors for Fall and Spring semesters at the Ketchikan Campus.
Adjunct instructors are used regularly at UAS Ketchikan Campus to provide education in a variety of courses. Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high quality instruction to undergraduate students. Candidates must display expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of the specific field.
Master's degree in related field is preferred. Doctorate degree in related field is preferred for upper division (300 and 400 level) courses.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum of two years of online teaching experience.
Position DetailsThis is an at-will, union represented adjunct position, and may be canceled based upon the needs of the university. This position is represented by United Academic – Adjuncts, AAUP-AFT/AFL-CIO.
