Job Summary

Responsible for providing a full range of financial, compliance, and operational audits, business advisory and consultation services, investigations, internal controls, accountability, and use of resources.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal and external timely operational, compliance, and financial audits of divisions, departments, providers, and activities of the corporation including evaluation of internal controls.
  • Identify, document, and evaluate business risks.
  • Document issues, their causes, and effects on processes/functions and the corporation.
  • Draft recommendations to limit risks and improve processes, functions, and activities.
  • Write audit reports for corporate executive management that clearly convey engagement evaluations, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, fraud, or non‑compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
  • Conduct testing of corrective actions as identified.
  • Develop detailed reports on each audit conducted, including a review of findings, identification of recommendations to correct deficiencies, and methods for improvement.
  • Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Conduct special audit studies for management, such as those required to discover controls for prevention of fraud.
  • Assist other auditors in completing their assignments to maximize audit efficiency and reduce lost time and involvement of corporate personnel.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of auditing experience.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of auditing.
  • Ability to analyze and determine the applicability of financial data.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations based on analyzed data.
  • Ability to gather information by examining records and documents and interviewing individuals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written form.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis.
Education

Bachelor's degree in a job‑related field. Equivalent experience: 4 years of job‑related work experience or an Associate’s degree and 2 years of job‑related work experience.

Tools and Software

Microsoft Office.

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
Work Environment

Typical office environment. May require travel between office buildings or out‑of‑town travel.

Salary Range

Minimum: $49,447.00 – Midpoint: $72,092.00 – Maximum: $94,737.00.
