The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions, is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Technician 2 position for the Ketchikan Correctional Center (KCC) in Ketchikan, Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing:- Verify and certify the accuracy of prisoner time accounting, learn and assist with prisoner bookings.
- Assist with the Electronic Monitoring (EM) program as needed.
- Process and assist with prisoner mail.
- Review, approve, purchase prisoner commissary items.
- Maintain all facility training schedules and track yearly certifications.
The Division of Institutions’ mission is to promote public safety. You will be contributing to that by supporting staff with administrative and criminal justice duties. You will be a valuable member of a team who accomplishes all support functions for Correctional Officers and operations staff.
