Peace Health is seeking a Dietitian I /
Dietitian II - Inpatient Nutrition Therapy for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position. The salary range for the Dietitian I role at Peace Health is $34.27 – $51.38. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Peace Health is seeking a Dietitian II - Inpatient Nutrition Therapy for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position. The salary range for the Dietitian II role at Peace Health is $37.70 – $56.54. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of nutrition care, consulting with other healthcare professionals as needed.

• Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process including nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate nutrition intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation, and follow up of outcomes.
• Using evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines, provide nutrition education to patients and families in the outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
• Provide consult services to other healthcare providers and participate in the interdisciplinary team.
• Document in the EMR in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• When appropriate, make referrals to other services, agencies and community resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Master's Degree
  
  Required:
  
  in a related field of study.
• Caregivers who earned their RD license before 1/1/2024 when a bachelor's degree was sufficient will be grandfathered.
• Must be able to design, implement, and evaluate instructional materials.
• Minium of 3 years in a related setting as a Registered Dietitian.
• Current Medicare provider status number may be required.
• Registered Dietitian or registration eligible (must pass the Registration Exam 180 days)
• National Dietitian Certifications - Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, or Board-Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition, Renal Nutrition, Pediatric Nutrition, Sports Dietetics, Gerontological Nutrition, or Nutrition Wound Care, as applicable to work performed is required.
