The Facility Maintenance Staff will maintain overall cleanliness and maintenance of the port.

• None.

• Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use;
• Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment;
• Receives, and processes work order requests;
• Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems;
• Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility;
• Basic carpentry, plumbing and painting on construction and building projects as directed;
• Ground’s landscaping and maintenance as required;
• Safely operate shop equipment, including forklifts;
• Maintains inventory of supplies, reordering as needed;
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent

At least two years related experience required

Driver’s License Preferred

Current CPR/First Aid Certification, or ability to obtain.

Prolonged periods standing and walking.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
