LHH has a client who needs a Remote – Supply Chain Planner 2 who will be responsible to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical Supply Chain Planner is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.
What You’ll Do:- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and work across departments according to production schedules.
- Review and distribute production plans, shipment schedules, and work orders to ensure timely execution.
- Examine materials, documents, and processes to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
- Determine personnel and material requirements by analyzing staffing plans and material priorities.
- Track and record production metrics such as output volume, raw material usage, and quality control results.
- Maintain and requisition inventory to meet operational and manufacturing demands.
- Compile and maintain reports related to inventory levels, costs, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable shipping and production regulations.
- 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations coordination.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly related to labor, manufacturing, and material costs.
- Ability to accurately document and manage operational and customer information.
- Knowledge of shipping, production, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel or similar computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
