Correctional Health Partners (CHP) specializes in customized third-party administrative (TPA) services. Our teamwork-driven services ensure CHP serves the needs of each unique partnership while prioritizing healthcare best practices.

We are looking for a Prior Authorization Nurse to use clinical judgment and critical thinking as part of a comprehensive program to assist the CHP Care Management team and clients in their efforts to provide appropriate and efficient quality care to their patients. The Prior Authorization Nurse is responsible for clinical review of requests for health care services. Business hours are Monday - Friday.

Applicants must live in one of the following states to be considered:
Colorado, Oregon, Florida, Montana, Missouri, Utah, South Dakota, Texas, Ohio.

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN; may be waived for an individual who has an RN licensure.
  • Three to five years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Previous experience in utilization management, case management, or discharge planning is preferred but not required.
  • Valid, unrestricted Licensed Registered Nurse for the state of practice.

Salary Range: $37.00 - $39.00 Hourly, depending on experience.
