Position Overview
Open to Alaska Residents only. The Ketchikan Pioneer Home (KPH) is recruiting for on‑call Certified Nurse Aide 1 positions.

The on‑call position is a member of an outstanding nursing and direct care staff and plays a vital role in providing person‑centered care and support in a safe environment for up to forty‑five (45) elders.
- Provide high quality personal care according to the assisted living plan.
- Assist residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting to and from bed, wheelchairs, bathtubs, lifts, walkers and canes.
- Participate in programs that promote physical well‑being and relationships by involving residents in activities that foster meaningful person‑to‑person social interchange with other residents, family, friends, and staff.

Working EnvironmentThe Ketchikan Pioneer Home is located at 141 Bryant Street, Ketchikan, AK 99901. The facility offers a team‑oriented setting with an amazing view of the Tongass Narrows, off‑street parking and easy access to local amenities.

- Must hold a valid State of Alaska Certified Nurse Aide certificate or be eligible for licensure. Proof of certification will be required prior to final appointment and reporting for duty.
- Background investigation, including fingerprinting, may be required as a prerequisite to employment.
- Proof of freedom from active pulmonary tuberculosis at time of hire will be required; employees are required to be tested annually.
