What You'll DoAs a Long Term Care RN, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans
- Documenting care accurately and thoroughly within the electronic health record
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes
- Delegating care appropriately based on team members' education, credentials, and competencies
- Supporting patients and their families through compassionate, patient-centered care
- Participating in quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention initiatives
- Pursuing ongoing professional development and continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- Minimum one year of clinical experience as a Staff Nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Specialty certification
- Experience in geriatric and/or rehabilitation nursing
