Seasonal Sales & Merchandising Associate

Come join local company Woodlands Clothing! We are a local art-based business in Ketchikan, Alaska that is open all year.

We are looking for an energetic and outgoing detail-oriented individual to join our wonderful team this summer!

If you have a great attitude and are looking for anywhere between 34-38 hours a week of work in a great encouraging environment we welcome you to apply!

The right applicant would possess the following traits:

• Must be able to work independently
• No transportation issues when it comes to getting to work on time.
• Has basic cash handling skills (if not, we can train)
• Outgoing, Energetic, Great Attitude
• Ability to take directions and follow-through with tasks
• Follow multi-step directions
• Be a team-player
• Experience with a modern POS system is helpful, but will train.

Your duties would include:

• Visual merchandising
• Recieving freight and inventory
• Restocking and managing inventory
• Engaging with customers
• Sales
• Basic cleaning duties
• Other duties as assigned by manager or owner
• Occassional errands

Pay depending on prior experience and employee discounts.
