Job Summary:
The Mechanic Assistant supports maintenance and shop operations. This hands‑on roleisideal for someone eager to build mechanical skills while working alongside experienced technicians.
The Mechanic Assistant works in a faced paced environment with an adapting schedule based on the cruise ship schedule.
- Assist mechanics with routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on equipment and vehicles
- Perform basic maintenance tasks (oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, etc.).
- Assist with equipment inspections and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Keep workshop organized, clean, andsafety compliant.
- Help track parts inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform othertasksassignedby Diesel Mechanic.
