Furniture Flammability Technician; Lab

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Furniture Flammability Technician to join their specialist Lab testing team in Kettering.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an internationally recognised technical organisation specialising in furniture testing, training, consultancy and innovation. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated Furniture Flammability department, carrying out testing to British, European and international standards and helping ensure furniture products are safe and fit for purpose.

As a Furniture Flammability Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and conditioning samples ready for testing
• Carrying out testing to British, European and International Standards
• Planning and agreeing testing schedules
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within laboratory areas
• Recording and reporting test results accurately
• Following detailed procedures and instructions to ensure testing is completed to the required standards
• Working to agreed deadlines and schedules
